SPANISH WELLS

Spanish Wells is a gated golf community in southern Bonita Springs, entered from Bonita Beach Road near US 41. It is built around a 27-hole course that can be played as three different 18-hole combinations (Spanish Wells Country Club). Rather than one uniform product, the community is a collection of smaller neighborhoods, among them Marbella at Spanish Wells and Lake Club Villas, the latter a group of 104 detached villa homes by Kraft and McCoy Construction (Naples Condo Boutique).
Homes and Prices
Buyers can choose among condos, townhomes, villas and single-family homes, which is why the price spread is wide: one listing site showed 38 homes for sale from about $225,000 to $1,695,000 (Bex Realty, accessed Oct 2026). As a midrange example, a 2004 single-story Marbella home with 2,099 sq ft, three bedrooms and fairway and pond views listed at $659,000 in April 2026 and went under contract (MLS via Bex Realty, Oct 2026).
Amenities and Lifestyle
Spanish Wells Country Club, at 9801 Treasure Cay Lane, runs the golf, a practice facility, pickleball, tennis, bocce, a fitness program, a heated pool with cabana bar and the Crow’s Nest restaurant. Membership is optional, and the club sells several levels. In its 2024 schedule, a full family golf membership carried a $25,000 initiation and $835.76 monthly dues, a social membership was $2,500 plus $96.25 a month, and a resident dining category was $1,000 plus $31.36 a month, with a $650 yearly food and beverage minimum on every category (Spanish Wells Country Club, 2024).
HOA and Fees
Each neighborhood has its own association fee on top of any club dues. Marbella’s fee was $462 a month in 2026, covering cable, internet, irrigation water, grounds, pest control, roads, street lights and trash (MLS via Bex Realty, Apr 2026). We did not find a master association website; the club’s own site is Spanish Wells Country Club. Pet and leasing rules vary by neighborhood, so read the documents for the specific section.
Location
Bonita Beach Road leads west to Bonita Beach and Barefoot Beach, and US 41 connects north to Coconut Point and south toward Naples. Downtown Bonita Springs and Southwest Florida International Airport are a short drive.
