Tamiami Village is a 55-plus manufactured home community in North Fort Myers (ZIP 33903), with its office address at 16555 North Cleveland Avenue, the US 41 corridor north of the Caloosahatchee (MHVillage). Streets carry planet and sky names such as Venus Lane, Mercury Lane and Celestial Way, along with sections on Flamingo Circle and DeSoto Drive. Homes date mainly from the late 1960s through the 1980s.
Homes and Prices
Expect two-bedroom, two-bath manufactured homes of roughly 670 to 1,000 sq ft on small lots, many sold furnished, sometimes with a golf cart. Recent closings show the price band: a 1968 home of 672 sq ft on a Venus Lane corner lot in the co-op section listed at $69,900 and sold for $65,000 in June 2026, and a 1987 home of 1,000 sq ft on DeSoto Drive sold for $105,000 in October 2026 after listing at $119,900 (MLS via Bex Realty, 2026). A 1980 home on Celestial Way that included a park share certificate valued at $11,500 was listed at $90,000 in January 2026 (MLS via eXp Realty, Jan 2026).
Amenities and Lifestyle
Shared facilities include three pools, two clubhouses, a fitness center, sauna and spa, library, billiards room, shuffleboard courts and a dog park, plus a calendar of social events (MLS listings, 2026). Laundry is a card-operated on-site facility in at least one section. Lee County Transit routes 590 and 595 serve the area.
HOA and Fees
Ownership is not uniform. Part of the community is a cooperative, where buyers acquire a share in the park, and listings in that section quoted a monthly fee of about $223 in 2026 covering management, legal and accounting, reserves, street lights and trash; a DeSoto Drive listing showed $294 a month (MLS, 2026). Confirm whether a given home includes the land, a co-op share or neither, and ask the association for its 55-plus occupancy rules and pet conditions. We did not find an official community website.
Location
Downtown Fort Myers is a short drive south across the river, and Fishermen’s Village in Punta Gorda is reachable to the north. Listings also cite easy access to Interstate 75 and the Fort Myers airport.
