Paloma is a gated D.R. Horton community in Bonita Springs, west of I-75 and a few miles inland from Bonita Beach. Horton opened the first section in 2013 and followed about three years later with Paloma Grande, the carriage-home phase billed as the final stage of development (Builder, c. 2016). Resale records show most homes dating from about 2016 and 2017 (Coldwell Banker listing, Feb 2026; Subdivisions.com, Oct 2026).
Homes and Prices
Three product types sit inside the gate. Single-family and villa plans ran from the one-story, 1,519-square-foot Wellington up to the two-story Newport at 3,552 square feet with five bedrooms (Naples Condo Boutique, 2026). Paloma Grande added two carriage-home plans, the 1,402-square-foot Samone with a den and one-car garage and the 1,661-square-foot Victoria, which launched from the mid-$200,000s (Builder, c. 2016). Streets include Monte Carlo Boulevard, Palace Lane, St. Roman Way and St. Michael Lane. For recent context, a single-family home on St. Michael Lane listed at $599,000 in February 2026 and sold for $580,000 that April, and carriage-home condos were asking about $319,000 to $365,000 in October 2026 (Coldwell Banker listing, Apr 2026; Subdivisions.com, Oct 2026).
Amenities and Lifestyle
The clubhouse has a catering kitchen, fitness center and community room, next to a resort-style pool and spa, two tennis courts and bocce courts (Builder, c. 2016). Residents also have shuffleboard, a basketball court, a play area and walking paths (Subdivisions.com, Oct 2026).
HOA and Fees
The single-family association is professionally managed and covers 209 units; a 2026 listing showed dues of $1,021 per quarter, and listings report no CDD (Coldwell Banker listing, Feb 2026). Carriage homes carry separate condo dues. Pets are allowed per listing data. No association website could be verified; get the declaration, budget and lease provisions from the management company before you commit.
Location
Bonita Springs High School is about 0.4 mile away, downtown Bonita Springs is under five minutes by car, and Coconut Point and Miromar Outlets are short drives north (Coldwell Banker listing, Feb 2026; Builder, c. 2016).
