Asher Park is a gated D.R. Horton community of single-family homes and townhomes near State Road 82 and Buckingham Road in eastern Lee County. The sales address is 8065 Cedar Key Way, Lehigh Acres, FL 33971 (D.R. Horton, Oct 2026). Its homeowners association was incorporated in 2021 and the plat was recorded in 2024. A local brokerage reports that parcels are taxed within the City of Fort Myers, even though mailing addresses say Lehigh Acres (McGreevy & Comisar, 2026). That explains why listings show either city name.
Homes and Prices
In October 2026 D.R. Horton listed four plans from 1,223 to 1,614 square feet with 3 to 4 bedrooms, 2 baths and 1- or 2-car garages: Greenbriar from the $298s, Downing II from the $315s, Cameron from the $318s and Jemison from the $335s. Quick move-in homes were listed at $299,999 to $342,380 (D.R. Horton, Oct 2026). Streets include Cedar Key Way, Sunset Preserve Drive, Everly Preserve Drive and Haley Creek Way.
Amenities and Lifestyle
The amenity package is modest and family oriented: a gated entry, pool, cabana, fitness center and playground (D.R. Horton, Oct 2026). There is no golf course, clubhouse dining or tennis, which helps keep costs down compared with resort-style communities in the Gateway and Estero areas.
HOA and Fees
The Asher Park Homeowners Association governs the community. D.R. Horton does not publish the HOA fee, and we found no public association website, so get the current dues and rules from the estoppel or the listing agent. A local brokerage found no CDD bond assessment on Asher Park tax bills (McGreevy & Comisar, 2026). Confirm this on the Lee County tax record for the exact parcel.
Location
SR 82 (Immokalee Road) gives a direct run west toward I-75 and Colonial Boulevard, and Buckingham Road connects north toward SR 80. D.R. Horton notes access to SR 82, Buckingham Road, I-75 and Colonial Boulevard (D.R. Horton, Oct 2026).
